CLS Services is a leading professional recruitment agency, specialised in the recruitment and career coaching of people with a background in chemistry & life sciences. For our client, Janssen Vaccines & Prevention, we are searching for a System Administrator.
- BSc. or MSc.
- Excel expert
- Macro modelling
We are looking for a motivated System Administrator initially supporting a system that enables Excel sheets to be used in a GxP environment. This system consists of a server with a secure environment (SFSR) and an Excel plugin (eInfotree). Currently the main purpose of this system is to collect critical process information/data from all COVID-19 vaccine production facilities.
Typical activities for the System Administrator are managing user accounts (creation and obsoletion), technical support of the system (new users and troubleshooting), technical support for new templates (updates and obsoletion) and maintenance (security checks, updates etc.). The System Administrator will work closely with data acquisition teams, both within JnJ and contract manufacturing organizations, several IT departments, Quality and System Administrators with similar roles.
- User accounts: setting up and ensuring that new users have the proper access to both eInfotree and the SFSR. This includes verification of the training, update the user groups and verifying access rights and security settings. This is approx. 40-50% of the time.
- Support: many new users but also experienced users get stuck or issues will pop up. Answering questions and troubleshooting is an important part of the job. Collaborating with internal experts but also with experts from the software vendors is needed. This is approx. 25-30% of the time.
- Maintenance: biannual security checks by running reports in the Admin module and then verifying the users are still active and trained. The need for an account is verified for all users and accounts are retired if appropriate. This is approx. 10% of the time.
- Spreadsheet templates: new spreadsheet templates are developed by users. Support is provided to convert, validate, and store the templates. In addition, a verification is done that the templates are compliant with internal and external regulations. Templates that are no longer in use are obsoleted appropriately including the required archiving and administration (like change controls). This is approx. 15-20% of the time.
In a later stage expansion of activities may include python, S3 cloud environment, SQL databases, web-based dashboard applications, and Spotfire dashboards.
