Janssen Vaccines & Prevention is dedicated to bringing meaningful innovation to global health. They focus on the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of vaccines and antibodies to protect people world-wide from infectious diseases.
Product stability team is part of the Analytical Development Department of Janssen and focuses on the design, execution and evaluation of stability profiles of novel vaccines. The group supports the clinical development stages of the vaccines platforms and generates data that is used in preparation for future commercialization.
In your role as Stability Scientist you will be a key player in the management of the various stability studies of the novel vaccines during the clinical development. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment and have a focus on preparation of stability protocols, stability reports, supporting documentation for IND/CTA filing, supporting shelf-life strategies, design of the stabilities studies, evaluation of the data and coordination of scientific investigations.
Since different CMC projects are carried out in teams comprising members from different departments, teamwork and flexibility are two very important characteristics that are required attributes. Who we're looking for
To successfully fulfill this position, you have a MSc (with some years of working experience), or a PhD in Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent life sciences degree. You have working experience in pharmaceutical industry and working under GMP standards. You also have experience with stability studies (design, reporting, ICH requirements) and analytical methods qualification and validation. Knowlegde of statistical analyses and data trending is prefered.
Because this position is "paper based" only (reports/graphs/tables/data), we are looking for someone who is organised, has a good eye for detail and adapts easily to ad-hoc changes in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
