Job description
Do you have an M.Sc. in Food Technology and experience with European Food Law? Then we are looking for you!

For the R&D team in Wageningen we are looking for a Specification and Food Law Technologist. The technologist will be primary focussing on creating product specifications (Foods Europe), including labelling data and support speed to market and their e-commerce agenda.

Based on the information provided by third party, Unilever experts, suppliers and other relevant sources, create and maintain high quality product and ingredient specifications including labelling. You will maintain R&D data in Unilever IT systems and make the specification compliant to European Food Law. You will verify against quality standards and model specifications. You verify discrepancies in the specifications with product developers, supply chain, project teams and ingredient experts.
Drive defining and aligning specification quality standards for ingredient, product and labelling specifications and incorporate to own tasks. Drive simplification of the tasks.
You will assure that ingredient, product or labelling specifications pass the approval step in Unilever digital tools.
You manage timing of own tasks based on input from project teams and assure that tasks are delivered on a timely manner.

Who we're looking for
You have an M.Sc. degree in Food Technology, Commodity Science, Biotechnology or similar relevant area and experience with European food law and with management of technical documentation for foods products.
Your speaking and writing skills in English are very good. In general, your communication skills are well developed. Additionally, you have good computer literacy (MS Office), favourable knowledge about management of databases. You have the ability to work in a multifunctional and multicultural team.
