Our client in the Rotterdam region focuses on the production of innovative and sustainable solutions for agriculture and horticulture. You will be part of the Regulatory Affairs depratments wihich is responsible for the development of global regulatory and certification (organic and others) dossiers on global level. The team consists of 7 international employees and focusses on different projects to ensure on time product registrations and also maintain and/or extend product registrations. Additionally, the team takes part in the development processes of product marketing concepts and is required to give advice before products are used commercially.

You will lead a team of Regulatory Affairs specialists focussing on the development of global regulatory and certification (organic and others) dossiers on global level. In this versatile rol as a Regulatory Affairs Teamlead you will manage and work with the regulatory team members, but you will also lead and coordinate a large number of corporate projects. Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and build up the team from its current forming phase to more formalized ways of working by supplying regulatory information and setting clear project roles and responsibilities
  • Identify educational/development needs and coach team members on those topics
  • Lead and coordinate a variety of projects by organizing the workload of the project teams, handling communication for interdepartmental projects, and acting as gatekeeper for external requests
  • Advice the team on procedural and strategic matters
  • Cultivate expertise in the field of project management and contributes to organizational knowledge within the department
  • Be the ambassador and key player in the process framework (L2-L4) to ensure smooth implementation and quality output

Wat vragen wij - What are we looking for

 We are looking for an ambitious candidate with extensive experience in the regulatory affairs field and strong people management skills/potential. We ask for:

  • MSc or PhD degree, preferably in (Micro-)Biology/Biochemistry
  • Minimum of 10 year work experience in the international regulatory affairs field, preferentially in the field of (bio)pesticides
  • Knowledge of the European procedures and regulation
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Inspiring and optimistic person who is able to develop teams and individuals within the team
  • Result-oriented with the ability to handle and combine diverse information streams without losing overview
  • You live in the Netherlands and you are willing to travel sometimes
