For our client, <STRONG>Janssen Vaccines & Prevention</STRONG>, we are searching for an Associate Scientist Drug Substance Development.

Department
The drug-substance development (DSD) department is responsible for the development of scalable, pharmaceutical-grade USP and DSP processes for viral vaccines using mammalian cell lines as a production platform. Novel technologies are used to make sure that the processes are safe, reliable, scalable and cost-effective, so that the vaccines can be produced in large quantities at low costs. The developed processes are transferred into GMP production facilities for the production of clinical batches and scaled-up for commercial production. All activities are performed in close collaboration with other departments.

Job description
In this role you are responsible for tech transfer and data validation. Next to that you will be responsible for the coordination and logistics of sample distribution, including their required data, to other departments. You keep oversight of required documentation and needs at all times. Next to that, you will ensure completion of dossiers by chasing/keeping track of missing data records.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate has a MSc. or PDeng in biopharmaceutical/ biomedical sciences,engineering or biotechnology and experience in process development. You have experience with production, technology transfer, data validation and Batch records. Knowledge of GMP is an advantage.
As a person, you have a good eye for details and you are accurate. Additionally, you are stress resilient and pro active.
Good communication skills in English are required, Dutch is a plus.
